Students submit a paper for approval and if accepted can compete in a Symposium
which takes place over two afternoons. |

Lindhout is the winner of the CCM Student Symposium
Award for Environmental Microbiology sponsored by Triosyn Research Inc.
The award was presented
by Stéphane Bourget SCCM on behalf of Triosyn Research Inc.
Theresa is a graduate student of Professor Joseph LAM of Guelph University
(Ont.)
Topic: The relationship between lipopolysaccharide core oligosaccharide
components and motility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

David
Carter is the winner of the CCM Student Symposium Award.
David is a graduate student of Professor William Coulton of Mc Gill University
(Qc).
Topic: Protein interactions in the bacterial periplasm; determinants of
iron transport.
