CCM
Student Award/Symposium competition is one of the three Top Category awards
at the CSM annual conference.
Students submit a paper for approval and if accepted can compete in a Symposium
which takes place over two afternoons. (Winners each receive $500 and a certificate of recognition)
AMMI Canada-CACMID Annual Conference: CCM Student Poster Award and CCM Environmental Microbiology Award. >>To Archive
The award
is based on the merit of the research presented in the poster, as well
as the student's ability to answer questions on his/her research project.
It is expected that the project contributes significantly to the professional
development of the student in microbiology. Abstracts are submitted
as part of the AMMI Canada-CACMID Annual Conference abstract submission process, but are identified as
student posters for the competition.
Each
award is valued at $800 and includes an engraved plaque and
one year free CCM membership.
AMMI Canada - CACMID Requirements: Work of students,
residents and fellows is eligible for a Student or Trainee Award. Students
